If I was only making 300 dollars a month after taxes, I still could not afford to eat at Pizza Hut even if I were living with my mother without paying rent (inherited apartment). All of this money would be needed for myself and my mother. It would be similar to trying to shop at the Western style supermarket in one of the Real Russia videos. Cuz most Russians outside of couple major cities are pro-dictatorship, soviet-nostalgic, they do not value freedom at all, they are ready to accept thankfully ANY abuse by their authorities. Soviets killed most passionate and politically active people, in cruelty to domestic population Russians can only be compared to Chinese. Most Russians feel themselves as is they were already in prison all the time. The pathological prison culture of violence planted by the Soviet secret services has become the basis of the Russian society.
