In the USA minimum wage jobs aren't shit because they make you work a lot for low pay, people know that they're going to be doing tedious and exhausting stuff for hours on end, its the stupid fucking managers/bosses that make minimum wage hell.

Managers are adversaries to the employees, and employees are forced to act as adversaries to the manager. Employee wants more hours to work, boss says: "I'll find out if I can give you more hours", never actually does. Manager gives favorite employees the easiest shift to do. Workers do nothing for 7 hours straight. Busy shift is unprepared because last shift did nothing, boss gets angry at the current shift. Employees do bad job: company gets bad reviews and boss starts to help out the employees. Employees do good job: manager has extra money, promotes bad workers, gives pay raises to bad workers, fires good workers. Boss on duty: employees are afraid or try to be friends with boss. Boss off duty: employees are hard working or doing nothing.
