The accent obsession of local anons is hilarious. Why are you worrying about this? You don't go to America or Britain, you live in Russian city and speak Russian most of the time of your daily life. Maybe you will emigrate to America, but you still spend most of your time in post-Soviet community because of your post-Soviet mentality. If you wanna find a job and get out of post-Soviet crowd, then accent ain't not a thing to master, better sharpen your hard skills, bro. You need a JOB in America, not a perfect accent in English. Also I would like to share my thought about learning English in general. Many of you don't know why they should learn English. First of all, you should figure this out and then make a plan to reach your goals. There are many ways of learning a new language but chosing among them depends on what are you gonna do with these language skills. If you won't travel, emigrate or speak with foreigners in your country or via Discord, so you don't have to learn speaking English at the first time. So, in that case, you should concentrate on specific language usage - reading, writing, listening. Then find the best materials created for that specific domain of language learning. For example, there are hundreds of textbooks for learning English reading skills. Read Amazon reviews and download some books to find the best among them. Then learn that specific skill of reading. The same for other skills.
One of the best ways to learn (almost) any language are the Pimsleur courses. You can find it on the Rutracker.
