We praise your quality, which is not worse than Russian quality - and this applies to everything, including kvass, Belarusian products also expand the Russian assortment, which makes life even more interesting. The only disadvantage is that Belarusian products are more expensive than their Russian competitors. And it defies any logic within the trade relations of a union state.

Examples: I have ATLANT brand fridge. Price - 220$ Quality: has lived for a decade already; unlike VESTEL (compressor broke in the first year, replaced it for >100$, it lived for 8 years more, broke beyond repair e.g. rusted down) or BEKO (busted a pipe, donated away to strip the compressor from it) from Turkey.

I disagree that they are better if you will compare products of the same class.
I switched to local Russian cheese years ago because locals are much cheaper and it is interesting to discover new cheese from a new manufacturer that tastes kinda unpredictable.

I can imagine that in Moscow there’s nothing better than Belarusian dairy products, but that’s not true for all of Russia. I was born in the Urals, and the dairy products there are just as good. There’s even a factory still operating that used to make “that very ice cream” for which the Homo Sovieticus longs to return to the past - and it’s still producing "that very" ice cream. And besides, ethnic dairy products are brought in from Kazakhstan, which I absolutely love.
