I work under contract for experience. Eventually I will obtain a government job, but I am dating a foreigner from BRICS member state, so that could jeopardize my application for to be cleared for classified projects. Otherwise it is nice, I get quality food daily and spend very little money to have it, I can sustain my hobbies too.

21 135691If you don't have a car you're fucked. Rent here is insane ($1200 minimum) and you don't get to work a lot of hours at most jobs (ive only got 14hrs per week at one job). Minimum wage is $15.50.

It's not impossible to thrive here so long as you're careful and are taught intermediate survival skills. Then again I also finished all 4 years of a brutally strict high school in the more "barbaric" southern regions before moving back to the north.

25 135776Life in romania feels like getting strangled slowly. It used to be nice cuz we had the best of both worlds, access to nice western stuff like free EU travel, but eastern enough to not have to deal with lgbtxyz and all that woke bs. Right now, its the worst of both worlds - eastern europe level salaries, EU level prices and taxes (raised recently). Add the fact that people becoming woke and you get to see the painful descend in real time. Oh and imm*ants too!
