Why is Moscow, and Russia in general, so much more muslim than Berlin or, especially, Amsterdam? Even in Spain, there aren't so many muslims on the streets!

Is this somehow connected to the fact that Chabad is Putin's sponsor, and he's called Klaus Schwab his teacher since Dresden, or has it always been this way, and Moscow has been Muslim since the Golden Horde?
