Good luck to you. Russian is complex, but if studying with passion, you will success. But one warning: 2ch has its own slang. and it might be impolite/strange to use certain words outside 2ch.
Btw I can understand Greek alphabet at a middle level (but not language itself). Do you Greeks have your own imageboards, or maybe threads on 4shit?

Yes our alphabets are very similar, that's why I managed to learn the Cyrillic in a day or so.

Why are you doing it? i think that the only good reason to learn the language is using it to speak/read/listen. If you dont like reading this site by itself, your interest would not last long.

I like Russian music, I also think that despite these difficult times Russians form cool fandoms and subcultures. So I think learning the languege is worth it

Retard, russian literature is a true masterpiece, ranging from Dostoevsky's chthonic depths and the Strugatsky brothers' profound science fiction to the charismatic horror of Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita and Valery Bryusov's The Fiery Angel. Start with Aleksey Konstantinovich Tolstoy (a relative of Leo Tolstoy). His The Family of the Vourdalak is a short story of just 10 pages that will perfectly inspire you to explore Russian literature. After that, you can move on to more serious, philosophical, and heavy chthonic works.
